On 28th September Richard Chambers, EG Wholesales longest serving driver, retired. Richard joined EG Wholesale in 2011 as a ‘short-term’ job, well 11 years later, 4 vans, 500,00 miles covered, 2 bangs on the head, 1 trip to hospital and copious amounts of tea drunk he finally hangs up his driving gloves.
Richard throughout his career has been a wonderful ambassador for the company. He made the East run his own and built up many friendships over his tenure.
Richard now looks forward to taking it easy doing jobs around the house and plans to travel the North Coast 500. Which is a stunning trip around Scotland.
